The short version

Bedsure’s cotton-linen blend is the best documented set here, because it is the only listing whose OEKO-TEX label number we could look up and confirm. But it is 70 percent cotton, not linen, despite “European Linen” in the title. Among the 100 percent linen sets, EverGrace is the most consistent.

Several listings contradict their own sizes or fabric weights, and one lists a fitted sheet that is too small for a queen bed. General information, not medical advice.

linen sheet listings gives an OEKO-TEX label number you can look up. We checked it and it is valid. The other four name certification without a number.

Linen, flax and what the certificates cover

Linen is fabric from flax fibers. A listing that says “French flax” or “European flax” is saying where the flax was grown; a listing that says “made in the USA” is saying where the sheets were sewn; neither says where the fabric was woven or finished. Huddleson’s listing is unusual in giving all three: French flax, woven in Italy, sewn in California.

Certifications are different again. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tests finished textiles for listed harmful substances, and its label check can confirm a number. “European Flax” is a separate scheme about flax traceability; we found no public lookup for it.

  • Check the fabric field: only one of these five is a blend, and its title does not say so.
  • Look for a label number for OEKO-TEX, a certificate number for European Flax or Masters of Linen.
  • Fabric weight for linen is usually given in grams per square meter (GSM). Thread count is a different measure, and two listings here mix them up.
  • Check the fitted-sheet size against your mattress: queen is 60 x 80 inches.

Claims, translated

ClaimWhat it coversKey exclusion
“OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified”Finished textiles tested for harmful substances against a list; the seller says the product is certifiedNeeds a label number to check. One listing here gave one, and it was valid; the others gave none

Our picks

Best documented (a blend)

1. Bedsure PureWoven Cotton-Linen Blend Queen Set

71/100

Editorial score3.6

70% cotton, 30% linen

OEKO-TEX label verified

16 in pocket

Fabric70% cotton, 30% linen. The bullets say plainly “this is a blended fabric”; the title says “European Linen Sheets”.
OEKO-TEXVerified. Label BJ000 221815 is a valid STANDARD 100 certificate, product class I, held by Qingdao Ruoshui Home Textile Co., Ltd (China), with linen and linen/cotton sheet sets in scope. The listing does not say that company made this set.
SizeFitted 60 x 80 in with a 16 in pocket, flat 90 x 102 in, pillowcases 20 x 30 in.
InconsistenciesThe title says “European Linen” and the highlight says “Natural Flax” for a 70% cotton fabric; Thread Count 108.
RecallsNo recall of sheets found. CPSC lists a 2023 recall of Bedsure electric heating blankets, a different product.
SellerShips from Amazon, sold by Bedsure; links to the Bedsure Store.
PriceSee current price on Amazon

This is the only listing in the guide whose certification we could verify, because it gives the label number. It is also the most honest about its fabric in the bullets, which call it a blend.

The title and highlight still say “European Linen” and “Natural Flax” for a fabric that is 70 percent cotton, which is why its consistency score is low.

Why it scored well

  • OEKO-TEX label number given and verified
  • Blend stated plainly in the bullets
  • Sold by the brand, shipped by Amazon

Watch-outs

  • Title says “European Linen” for a 70% cotton fabric
  • The certificate holder is a manufacturer the listing does not name
  • Thread count of 108 is unexplained

Most consistent linen

2. EverGrace 100% European Flax Linen Queen Set

67/100

Editorial score3.4

100% European flax

18 in pocket

Certificates, no numbers

Fabric“100% European Flax Linen” in the Material and Fabric Type fields.
Certification“European Flax certified and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified”, with no certificate or label numbers. The page shows an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 badge; we did not open its details.
SizeFlat 94 x 104 in, fitted 60 x 80 in with an 18 in pocket, two 20 x 32 in pillowcases.
CareMachine wash cold, gentle cycle, mild detergent, no bleach or softener, tumble dry low.
Not statedFabric weight (GSM).
RecallsNo EverGrace record in a CPSC title search on Oct 19, 2026.
SellerShips from Amazon, sold by EVERGRACEHOME; links to the EverGrace Store.
PriceSee current price on Amazon

EverGrace is the most self-consistent of the linen sets: the fabric field, the sizes, the pocket and the care all agree. It makes two certification claims.

Neither claim comes with a number, so we could not check it, and the fabric weight is not given.

Why it scored well

  • Fabric, sizes and care all consistent
  • Full dimensions including pillowcases
  • Sold by the brand, shipped by Amazon

Watch-outs

  • Two certification claims without numbers
  • Fabric weight not stated
  • “Moisture-wicking” and “insulating” have no test

Origin spelled out

3. Huddleson Natural Linen Queen Set

54/100

Editorial score2.7

French flax, woven in Italy

Sewn in California

180 GSM

OriginFrench flax, woven in Italy, finished (sewn) by Huddleson in California; the listing says both “Made in USA” and “woven in Italy”.
Fabric100% linen, 180 GSM; the Thread Count field also says 180, which is a different measure.
Certification“OEKO-TEX certified chemical free” with no label number, and “Masters of Linen Certified” with no certificate number. OEKO-TEX tests for listed substances; “chemical free” is not what it certifies.
SizeFitted 60 x 80 in; the pocket is stated as 16 in, 17 in and 43 cm in different places. Flat 96 x 108 in; pillowcases 21 x 32 in.
RecallsNo Huddleson record in a CPSC title search on Oct 19, 2026.
SellerShipper and seller Huddleson Linens; links to the Huddleson Store.
PriceSee current price on Amazon

Huddleson tells you more about where the sheets come from than any other listing here: the flax, the weaving and the sewing are each placed.

It stretches OEKO-TEX into “chemical free” and gives the pocket depth three different ways, and GSM appears in the thread count field.

Why it scored well

  • Flax origin, weaving and sewing each stated
  • 180 GSM stated
  • Sold by the brand

Watch-outs

  • “OEKO-TEX certified chemical free” overstates the certificate and has no number
  • Pocket depth stated three ways (16 in, 17 in, 43 cm)
  • Thread Count field repeats GSM

Mismatched numbers

4. CHUFFED 100% French Linen Queen Set

47/100

Editorial score2.4

100% French linen

180 GSM (title)

OEKO-TEX claimed

Fabric“100% French linen” from “premium French flax fibers”.
Certification“Oeko-Tex Standard 100, guaranteeing it is free from harmful substances”, with no label number. A certificate does not guarantee the absence of all harmful substances.
InconsistenciesThe title says 180 GSM while the Thread Count field says 300, and the Item Weight field says 3.2 ounces for a four-piece set.
Size and careFlat 90 x 102 in, fitted 60 x 80 in with a 16 in pocket, pillowcases 20 x 30 in. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.
RecallsNo CHUFFED record in a CPSC title search on Oct 19, 2026.
SellerShips from Amazon, sold by chuffed; links to the CHUFFED Store.
PriceSee current price on Amazon

CHUFFED gives the sizes, the care and the fiber origin clearly.

Its numbers do not agree: GSM in the title, a different thread count in the details, and a weight of 3.2 ounces for the whole set. It also says OEKO-TEX “guarantees” the fabric is free of harmful substances.

Why it scored well

  • Sizes and care stated
  • Fiber origin stated (French flax)
  • Sold by the brand, shipped by Amazon

Watch-outs

  • Title GSM and Thread Count field disagree
  • Item weight is impossible for a four-piece set
  • OEKO-TEX claim has no number and is overstated

Size mismatch

5. ATLINIA 100% Flax Linen Queen Set

41/100

Editorial score2.1

100% French flax

15 in pocket

Sizes do not fit a queen

Fabric“100% French flax fiber”; Material and Fabric Type fields say linen.
Certification“OEKO-TEX Certified Safety” with no label number.
InconsistenciesThe fitted sheet is listed as 54 x 75 x 15 inches, which is a full-size mattress, in a set titled queen (queen is 60 x 80 inches). The flat sheet is 81 x 96 inches, smaller than the other queen sets here. Thread Count says 14 and Number of Items says 1.
CareCold gentle wash, low heat drying, no bleach.
RecallsNo ATLINIA record in a CPSC title search on Oct 19, 2026.
SellerShips from Amazon, sold by ATLINIA; links to the ATLINIA Store.
PriceSee current price on Amazon

ATLINIA states fiber, care and an OEKO-TEX claim.

Its fitted sheet dimensions are a full size, not a queen, and its flat sheet is small for a queen bed, so the size may not match the bed you are buying for. Check with the seller before ordering.

Why it scored well

  • Fiber stated (French flax)
  • Care instructions stated
  • Sold by the brand, shipped by Amazon

Watch-outs

  • Fitted sheet listed at a full-size dimension in a queen set
  • Thread Count and Number of Items fields are wrong
  • OEKO-TEX claim has no label number

How to choose linen sheets

  • Check the Fabric Type field first: is it 100 percent linen or a blend?
  • Look for a certificate number, not just the word “certified”, and check it with the certifier.
  • Compare fabric weight in GSM and check that the fitted sheet matches your mattress size.
  • Expect linen to wrinkle and soften with washing; the listings describe a “lived-in” look.

How this guide was researched

We searched Amazon.com for queen linen sheet sets on Oct 19, 2026, kept one product per brand, and read each full listing: title, bullet points, product details and the buy box. We looked up the one OEKO-TEX label number given on a listing in the OEKO-TEX label check, searched the CPSC recall database for each brand and opened the seller line on every buy box. We found no public lookup for the European Flax claim. We scored products with our published method: certification (25), disclosure (20), claims (20), consistency (10) and seller (15); the value part was left out (we show no Amazon prices yet), and scores are rescaled to 100. We did not use or test any product.

We could not use the Amazon product API, so every fact comes from listings and records read by hand on the date shown, and can change. Four listings claim OEKO-TEX or European Flax certification without a label or certificate number, so those claims could not be checked. General information, not medical advice.

Common questions

Is a cotton-linen blend the same as linen?

No. A blend contains other fibers. One set here is 70 percent cotton and 30 percent linen, and its title still says "European Linen".

What does GSM mean on linen sheets?

Grams per square meter, a measure of fabric weight. It is not the same as thread count, though two listings here list both in ways that do not agree.

Can I verify OEKO-TEX on these listings?

Only where the listing gives a label number. Enter it in the OEKO-TEX label check. One of the five gave a number, and it was valid.
