Effective Oct 19, 2026. This policy explains what Natural Picks (naturalpicks.net) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum a small publication needs.
What we collect
- Searches you type into our site search. We store the search words, the number of results and the time, for 60 days, to see which topics readers want. We do not store your IP address, browser details or any account with them.
- Clicks on Amazon links. We keep a running count for each product. The count has no personal information in it.
- Messages you send us. If you email info@naturalpicks.net, we keep your message and address to reply and to handle any correction.
- Standard server logs. Our web host may keep routine logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use them to profile readers.
Cookies and analytics
At the time of this policy, Natural Picks does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will ask first through a cookie notice, respect a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out, and update this policy before it takes effect.
Links to Amazon and other sites
Our product links go to Amazon.com. When you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies and tells us (through our Associates account) that a purchase came from our link. Amazon’s privacy notice governs what it collects. We cannot control other sites.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and not to be treated differently for asking. Because our site search log holds no personal identifiers, the information we are most likely to hold about you is an email you sent us. To make a request, email info@naturalpicks.net with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to confirm it is you, and we respond within the time the law requires.
Children
Natural Picks is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Questions: info@naturalpicks.net.
